She will poop when she really has to. Sally has been in her nesting box since this time last night and shes not gone poop yet. The sound is really normal Clarissa did that and puffed up her feathers so she was huge but let me stroke her and when the chicks hatched she was happy for me to pick them up and see them but would attack the other hens. Sally on the other hand doesnt make a noise but puffs herself up so shes twice the size and bites my hand, little madam
No need to make her move she will be eating and drinking enough to survive. Clarissa looked really unhealthy when she was broody her cone and watle shrunk and was more pinky brown than red but as soon as the chicks hatched she got back to normal. she will get off the eggs less as it gets closer to hatch day but she is probably having about half hour to an hour of the eggsa day when ur not watching
