I keep finding eggs in my pasture. They are mostly unbroken with a half dollar size hole in the side and the goodies eaten.
The troubling part is that they are not from my chickens! They are from the neighbors.
Their coop is over 200ft from where I find the eggs. And over 2 or 3 4ft fences with field wire (pretty small holes). I find eggs scattered pretty far apart, not all in one spot.
Any ideas as to what is stealing my neighbor's eggs and eating them in my pasture.
I find them in the morning.
Maybe an evil Easter Bunny.

Crows will eat eggs just as you described it.

I left some eggs out one day and watch the crows fly up, break a hole in the eggs, drink the inside and then grab it fly halfway into my horse pasture, drop it and continue to eat it.

They don't crush up the hole egg, rather make a quarter sized hole and eat the insides, then play with the egg shells.

If you want to be sure, take an egg outside and place it on a fence post. It won't take long for a crow to show up and snatch it.
