Thats very uncarring and rather odd. I agree with you, they should have just rang the doorbell. Thankfully they will be going to a great home with lots of love and attention.

I'm an animal lover, and it breaks my heart to see dumped animals of any kind.....

What they have been eating could effect how fast they feather and grow so age may be a bit harder to determine than you think. My japanese bantam chicks feathered twice as fast on the 22% gamebird crumbles than the 18% chick starter.

How cute are those little faces! I cannot believe people do this kind of stuff,

. I didn't get chicks I got a rabbit that was so knotted and full of poo his back legs were raw from it pulling, full of maggots (sorry for the grossness but that's what people do) he is a long hair they left him in a small ditch that had water in it. I was walking the dog and found him he is fine all clean happy and he was fixed so he's got a girl friend My other rabbit .We also get lots of kitty's I would love to

those people sorry again but they make me so mad!

This almost sounds like one of those "mom look what followed me home from school" stories - are you sure this isn't really your secret plot to get some new chicks into your flock?
