Help something wrong with hen’s vent!

A few months ago this hen had what I thought was egg bound/prolapsed vent. Today it’s swollen and enlarged! What can I do to help her? Since she had her problem I’ve kept her with baby chicks today I let her free-range with the others today.

I would trim away those feathers so you can get a clear look at what's happening and to clean the area up a bit.
Some folks use Prep H or similar to reduce prolapsed vents or swelling in that area.

I would check for a stick egg or mass by inserting a clean finger inside the vent an inch or two. Watch for vent pecking with your hens since they can cause vent damage.
