HELP!!!...start of bumblefoot?

My BO started limping today, I soaked both feet in warm saltwater and took these pics. I am not sure if this is the start of bumblefoot or just dirty feet...I am fairly new to raising chickens (1 year).If anyone has advice to what this is or how to treat it, I would appreciate it. I have her separated so she won't jump up to roost and injure herself more.

That does look like bumblefoot which results from stepping on sharp objects and rocks. You can soak the foot in epsom salts and warm water to draw out the infection (staphlococcal.) It doesn't look that bad yet, and I would let her go ahead and roost. You can do bumblefoot surgery if it gets worse. Thanks for the quick reply. She is a big girl, a favorite, hate to see her limping.My hens do free range in the afternoon, and there is a lot of underbrush and stickers where they like to go, she may have stepped on something. I did notice a yellow looking thing under her one pad, and after reading the post you sent me to, I realize I may have to extract it. I am planning on a trip to the vet for my dog today, and I will ask him also. Once again, thank-you for your advice.

UPDATE...My sweet BO is doing great...I did do the surgery on both of her feet...daily soaking feet in epsom salts, applying vetericyn, and neosporin.she is up walking around outside (supervised) with her feet wrapped looking for bugs to eat. I have also been feeding her scrambled egg with kefir.. Big thanks to the BYC members who have helped me along the way.
