Help...still not sure what to do....

I posted about 3 weeks ago that my bantam phoenix rooster lost his voice. No signs of being sick...looks normal acts normal. It has been well over a month since he lost his voice and there is no sign of it coming back. He still squeaks and is raspy sounding when trying to crow. Any idea as to what has caused this? He has 2 hens with him and they are fine. Sometimes It seems like he is breathing harder than normal...like its hard to catch his breath. I don't know what to do for him or if I should do anything. Has anyone else heard of this or know whats causing it? I don't want him to get sick from this.
