This is my first incubation. We're on day 4 in a little giant Styrofoam incubator with a fan. Turning by hand. I turned the eggs this morning before I left for church. When I got back the temp was on 93. I discovered I did not have the lid all the way on. The lowest reading was 93 with 45% humidity. The highest was also 93 with 47% humidity. I usually reset high and low after turning and insuring that temp rises back to 99-100, except for this morning, when I just reset as soon as I turned them and ran out the door so I wouldn't be late.

Is it hopeless? I'm so bummed! What do I do?

you should be good. I have had the power go out 12+ hours and still good hatches

Don't worry, they will be fine. It takes quite a long time for the core temperature of the eggs to drop and 93* is not that cold. And it was only for 2 hours. I've heard of incubators accidentally getting turned off and left undiscovered for hours, one 24 hours, and the temperatures dropping to the 70's and the chicks hatched out fine. So relax and remember in future to make sure that lid is on properly!

Oh yay! Thank you so much! I have been so paranoid, I haven't even let my teenagers turn them! I know to double check the lid now
