HELP! They changed the feed! Only 22% protein!!!

If we are talking Natural, I SHOULD be raising bugs. But bugs are ICKY!!!!

As for soy, no. I am trying to get away from commercial soy and corn because of the GMO factor.

Feed FRM Game Bird Starter for the first 8 weeks. Sprinkle small amount several times per day on carddboard or in area where there is plenty of light. Also, as chicks start eating, provide small chick feeders. When chicks are eating well from feeders, remove cardboard. Just about any feed store will order you however many bags you want on their next truck. You just have to ask them and maybe pay first.
 
Not all dealers carry Game Bird Feed or Starter... Have you ever seen a TSC with it? A smaller store I went to wouldn't order it either. I was also told buy a guy working at a feed store that the reason Purina Game Bird Started has medicated on the tags is because it has vitamins...

I used to feed a co-op feed but it had molasses and lard in it... Smelled horrible and they wouldn't lay.
