Help, think my bantam Cochin has the Gapes

Not sure what a normal beak looks like inside but I’ll check tomorrow also. As well as her crop.
Looked in beak as well as I could. Seemed ok. Crop is empty, no lumps. Has had diarrhea too.in fact when I picked her up today she wet my top. She also drinks a lot. Ideas?

That's good, you'd notice something like canker in there. Diarrhea isn't great though, is she on her normal feed? I can't remember if you said. I'd give some pumpkin and oatmeal along with feed (preferably a high protein feed if you have it, since we'd be adding stuff to it). The fiber should help. As should deworming, in time.

Ah, just looked back and saw she's on an egg/yogurt/spice concoction. I would discontinue that, especially the yogurt, and give regular feed. Wet like mash if she's not drinking enough.

It's good the crop was empty this morning.
Drinking a lot, is it hot where you are?
Is she eating at all?

She stopped eating the oatmeal concoction on her own. When I let her out she slowly ,with lots of stops , went up to the run and ate some regular crumbles that I had dusted with DE. And she drank a lot. Read somewhere to give electrolytes for the diarrhea but haven’t yet. Should I?

I’ll try the pumpkin and oatmeal tomorrow. I sometimes give them leftover cat food. She usually doesn’t get that since she rather have dry oatmeal. I’ll feed her alone to make sure she has some.

80’s but there’s lots of shade in their coop/run area and when she’s out free she goes between sun and shade. Even does a little dust bathing. Not fluffing but picking at the ground.
Don't bother with the DE, it's useless in food and potentially harmful if dusted or sprinkled around.
Diarrhea might be due to a change in food.
ok.
Yes, she is eating and drinking too.

Yes, I use a 14 day egg withdrawal with both Valbazen and Safe Guard. That means the day of the first dose start pitching, and don't stop pitching until 14 days after the second dose. In the garbage, not fed back to any other birds, not fed to dogs, etc. Typically, you want to deworm, and then deworm again in 10 days, in order to catch the ones in the stage of their life cycle that weren't caught with the first dose.

Tell us what you end up buying and we can give you correct doses. It's important both to never under-dose and to do the two wormings 10 days apart, in order to prevent/slow down resistance to dewormers. If you use one wormer on your farm repeatedly, at an insufficient dose, you'll creat worms that aren't killed by that drug anymore after a few years.
I ordered Safe Guard
