Help, this quail has been picked at

My understanding is that females has dots on their chests right ?
Ppl here wher I live only sell straight run
I'm gonna ask see if I can get a few pictures of them and If I can pick out a few females

Yes, the females should have the markings on their chest where the males are usually a mostly solid color. If you watch YouTube, I recommend taking a look at some of My shire farms videos, he does a VERY good job of showing the differences.

I'm having hard time finding females here as everyone is selling straight runs and won't let me pick them out ...
I'm really frustrated. And found today that I have another boy was picked at ... Hopefully that's all the boys because I really don't have any more space to separate them
