Help! Transgender chicks!!!

Hey, I have high schoolers so this is everyday conversation for me

and I could do this all day long.

You've addressed the feed, but we haven't even broached the bathroom labeling etiquette yet.....

. And how about the sleeping arrangements? the dressing rooms?
Oh boy. This is even more complicated than I first thought.
I just spoke with a Psychiatrist, he thinks they may put me on Xanax to calm me down, and Prozac to numb me to my feelings, some Valium to relax me, some Ritalin to help me concentrate on these issues, a weekend learning Buddhist chants, some yoga, some sensitivity training, some Morphine to dull the pain of it all, and 1 weekend night a week at a gay bar to learn acceptance.

Owning baby chicks is some serious stuff.
Thanks for your insights, I've gotta admit I'm kinda looking forward to all the drugs, I hope my Obammamammacare pays for it all.

Maybe your chicks don't identify as humans? that may be your problem right there, Joe. by calling them boys and girls, you're forcing them into a human identity. Your signs need to say pullets and cockerels.....assuming your chicks identify as chickens

.That could open up a whole thing right there....maybe one identifies as a duck? So you need signs saying drake and hen (is there another name for immature male and female ducks?) I think, to cover all your bases and not offend any of your chicks, you need signs that list all possible names for both male and female of all the species your birds could possibly identify as. So they'll feel comfortable, you know.

And, not to be Anglo-centric, but you're printing the signs in English. maybe your chicks aren't English speakers. You need to have the signs in multiple languages, or offer a translator.

I'm seeing one that identifies as a cow...I can tell! So you better move it over to the pasture with it's likeness...or it might cause psychological issues later.

Joe, I have faith in you. I also suspect you have lots of time on your hands so you should be able to resolve all these chicken sexual identity issues with your superior brain.

Just be sure and let us know how it all turns out.

Joe, have you considered piping in Dr. Phil to help them sort themselves out. I personally don’t watch his show as I have something else to do at that time of day, or I find something else to do, but I’ve heard he can do wonders with self-esteem and other issues. Of course you could bring out the big guns and show Oprah reruns. I’ve heard some really good things about her shows too but unfortunately don’t have any firsthand experience with her shows either. My understanding is that she is even more powerful than Dr. Phil.

I’m not sure putting silhouettes of hens and roosters would work. As many of us know roosters generally take very good care of small chicks while hens can often be frightening to chicks that don’t have a Mama to protect them. I’d think that they’d all gravitate to the rooster side as they are often afraid of strange hens.

Now that I've read through this whole thread, I am confused and have a headache. Joe, got anything to help?
