I have a turkey hen about 8 months old, Holland white that is a pet of ours, not raising her for food(I say that as it may make a difference in antibiotics). Noticed her laying down a lot yesterday, usually follows us like a puppy dog. This morning I did notice she seemed to be having trouble breathing. No discharge, sneezing, etc. I have pulled a chicken that was sneezing and they are housed in the same area. I'm sure it's the same thing. Have the chicken on amoxicillin, can I give the turkey the same thing? If so, anyone know a dosage? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
