HELP! Twin duck egg no pip day 28

Is this a bruise?? I don’t know if it’s a bruise because when I got the egg it was really dirty? I felt it and it feels just slightly softer? If it is I am ready to poke a safety hole, but it is not at the air sack?
It’s hard to say if it’s dirty or a bruise
I’ll see if I can find a pic of my egg that bruised outside the air cell
You need ti be sure it’s a bruise cause you can cause harm putting a hole in early if they aren’t ready

Just dirt. Be careful about putting the egg in the same position since they need to be properly oriented to pip.
Just leave it alone, it's not ready yet. :] it will probably do something Sunday or Monday of it does anything at all
X2.

A bruise will be dark blue-ish/purple.

I thought I was meant to stop turning the egg by now?
That's what nuthatched means, don't be picking the egg up or turning it at all. Embryos in the final stage of incubation, ESPECIALLY twins, need to be still so they can get oriented properly to pip and hatch. If they get moved around too much after getting in position, it can disorient them and they might pip in the wrong place, missing the air cell and risking pipping through a vein or something.

I had an incubator like that when I first started hatching. It was very, very inconsistent! Usually ran cooler than the set temperature, so I would wager that your duckling might just be a little delayed… a day or two.
You’ve been getting good advice all around, so continued good luck!!

I just candled to check for internal pips, still none… but then I decided to candle at the pointy side of the egg, and there was lots of movement, but I might of saw a beak! I am definitely NOT 100% sure because it might of been a foot or something. But I saw something pushing against a sac?
