Everyone was acting fine. Opened up the coop on the morning and found my silkie, Daisey, dead. She was on her breast side legs and head stretched out. Her breast area was open but didn’t seem to be eaten. Then, this morning, I open the coop to find my Americans, Millie, dead. She was also stretched out but is in otherwise perfect condition, no sign of any injury.
Any thoughts? Maybe I’ll bring her for a necropsy.

Here are the photos. The first 2 are Daisey and the other 2 are Millie.

I would get a necropsy done on her 100%. 1 chicken suddenly dropping dead with no obvious cause is bad luck, but 2 means there's something going on you're not aware of. I almost wonder if the wound on Daisey was post mortem by a rat or something

a rat would rip threw completely its almost like a top layer of her skin was dissolved very weird @Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock might know but I doubt its a disease more like an external tampering of some sorts
