Hello! I am new to the whole chicken raising business and recently got 4 bantam chickens but am unsure of breeds or genders. I believe one is a Buff Orpington and one is a Blue-Laced Wyandotte. Also, the black chick is looking suspiciously like a roo because of its well developed, red comb. Anyone have any ideas of what I have? Thanks!! 5A089E34-D33B-4F12-93D7-57EE46745D22.jpeg

Can you get some better individual pictures?

From what I can see so far, the black one is definitely a boy and possibly a Cochin, and the buff one looks like it may be a Brahma if the feet are feathered, if not probably a Easter egger! The gray penciled one may be another Easter egger but I can’t see its face to be sure. I do agree that the furthest in the back looks like a blue laced Wyandotte, but I think that one may be a boy too.

Thank you for all your responses! I will definitely try to get better individual pictures of each for easier identification.

I currently have 7 mature laying hens (various breeds) and am concerned with adding *possibly* 2 roosters to the mix. Do multiple roosters tend to fight with each other or cause problems?

Yes, Blue laced red wyandotte, buff brahma, the other two we need pics of their faces/full bodies. He is indeed a boy.

Thank you! Yes, I agree with the Buff Brahma now that I’ve seen other pictures of them. Any idea of sex with this pic?
