Hi. After reading Minky's thread I'm a bit nervous. I'm a new chook owner, I only have one hen and a rooster and 5 youngsters, I got these chooks to supply myself and friends with eggs, after reading Minky's thread....if I were to put my eggs in the fridge until I had a dozen, to sell or give away, does it mean that some of those eggs may have baby chicks in when my friends cracking them for breakfast. Do I need to get rid of my rooster so they aren't fertilised eggs? Thanks, I'm a real novice at this🙆

The eggs will be fine. You would need to incubate like the other have said in order to start getting a chick to develop.
Your friends won’t even notice the different between the eggs that are fertilized or not.

You greatly misunderstood that thread.
It was about incubating eggs that had been stored in the fridge.
Usually one stores egg for hatching at room temps.
