Hi, I'm new here.
I have a silkie hen less than a year old. Yesterday when I went in the coop to feed them she was on the ground and couldn't get up. Whenever I would touch her or pick her up she would lose her balance and spread her wings out and go head first down and put her but up in the air. This morning she seems to be doing worse. She want walk or keep her head up. She just want to stay spread out with her wings out laying on her side. She will try to get up and flap around and fall back down. I noticed she's shaking a bit and warm. I felt and think she may be egg bound? She has never layed yet. I think I could feel an egg inside her but I'm not 100% sure. So I soaked her in warm water a half hour and put her back in her box on a towel. She will just lay there and not move all sprawled out. I just checked on her and it's been an hour and she was a large amount of pure white solid poop coming out. But no egg. I'm not sure what's wrong with her HELP.
