HELP! Vote for your favorite BYC Coop Page!

It's ok.... I am glad that I just happened to catch it so early in the game and everyone had not voted!.

PS.. I see above that you say you can vote more than once, on the vote page is clearly says that you can vote only once.

IHMO, why not allow votes for each series? IE: tractor, small coop, med coop, and large coop?

You have out user names in the vote so I assume you can tell if we voted in just four areas, right?

I just voted!! It was nice to go back and look at all the coops to refamiliarize myself with them to make the best decision. I voted for my favorite in each class and voted a 9 for my second fav in the large coop section. (It was next to impossible to decide between my two faves!!!)

What fun. Thanks Mods for giving us the opportunity to be heard!!

Well that is good to know, but it should be made clearer on the vote page. It states that you can only vote once, not for the entry once.

Now I can vote for a couple more! It was a hard choice with just once vote!

Ok. I didn't get slapped for that one so I'll stick my neck out a little further. Once you get to the individual coop area, could it be set up similar to a photoshop so that you could just click "next" or have page numbers like the forums to just click a number and move on to the next entry? This also would cut down on the time by not having to hit the back button and figure out where you left off.
OK. Go ahead and hit me now as I make your job even harder.

ok unclejoe, here you go for that last suggestion:

That is much more tricky thing to do. We'd love to have this all automated with really cool navigation buttons and voting features built in, but that's just too much time / energy investment right now.

With that said, I dream about a really fancy system. Maybe someday we'll find a way to do this without too much crazy effort.

If we do find a way to automate everything I'd eventually like to go through all the coops that are current there (some from 2001) all the way to all the new coop pages and rank them relative to one another.

OK. I don't know anything about the way a site works. This is a great place. I found it back in May when I first thought about getting chickens and spent night after night reading till I finally took the plunge in July. Keep up the great work.
