Hi! Couple weeks ago I posted some chicks on here and am now looking for some updated assistance on them.
#1 black chick: the comments said BJG. I am not fully convinced on that as we now have some white coloring in there as well. Thoughts? Also I’m very certain rooster but feel free to tell me I’m wrong😅

#2 didn’t get much help on this one at all other than someone trying to say it was a baby hawk. It was dropped off with three others from the neighbor and they came from TSC in a hatchery’s pick tub of rare breeds. I’m sort of leaning towards one of the Phoenix but could use some help!

Black birds will have white feathers come in as the develop. A BJG is going to have yellow skin and legs where an australorp will have white skin and legs. I can't tell from the pics.

The second one could be a prairie bluebell or starlight green egger. @RoostersAreAwesome is good at these duckwing types.

They all look like pullets, but some better pics of their heads will help.

The black one has a pea comb, so it isn’t an australorp or jersey giant. It’s probably an olive egger and possibly a cockerel.
The other chick looks small, so she could be a silver duckwing old English game bantam. However, she is a bit too young to be completely sure on breed. Definitely a pullet though.

My BJG has black legs and the top of her feet.. bottom of feet are yellow.. her daughter also has black legs and top of feet and yellow on bottom even tho dad was a light brahma.. I also agree on the comb not being quite right.. idk just my experience with my own BJG.. good luck tho!

I'm confused. Did you say the father to your BJD is a brahma?
