Help w/Pygmy Goat worming

I prefer giving the injectable Ivomec orally.. also one should absolutely make sure they need wormed before dumping chemicals.. is it possible to get a fecal done that way you know for sure what if any you need to target.. Valbazen is a good wormer too orally.. don't over worm or you will get resistance in the long run.. I have used the safeguard horse paste but don't have much faith in it.

Fecals sometimes dont tell you everything you need to know...like during winter months you wont see eggs in the samples. I worm during the winter to get the large adult worms you dont see on fecals. They are the blood suckers and the 1's that can kill you goats.

I've used the Eprinex topically without trouble. I don't think it was as effective, however, as the ivermectin. Ivomec Plus will always be my favourite. It kills everything.
