Help- Warts on rooster's crest

Yesterday I noticed warts on my rooters' crest and wattles. did not have them last week. young bantam rooster. the one on my profile pic.

I sprayed him with parenthium mix for now.

Any info on this would be appreciated.

Most likely it's fowl pox, a virus mainly caused by mosquitos. There's not much you can do about it, it'll go away on its own in a few weeks. It can be transmitted to other chickens. Here's a link with more info for you:

I wouldnt use chemicals to get rid of mosquitos which could have an adverse effect or worse on your chickens. Simply eliminate standing water as best as you can. Once the virus passes through your flock, your birds will be immune to that particular strain of fowl pox.
