this is a continuation of the last thread but, I have a polish chick maybe 2 months old. She has fowl pox and it recently has gotten worse and bigger over the past few weeks/days. I’ve cleaned the water everyday and applied neosporin on her scabs/warts atleast 1-2 times a day. another chick eyes were closed shut but ever since I’ve used neosporin every single day her eyes started to open. So I’ve stuck to using neosporin on the white polish chick hoping the warts/scabs will fall off, but it started to grow bigger every single day almost closing her nostrils, it’s to the point she can barely breathe. I need help, some chicks are getting better and some aren’t. Please leave any information that could be helpful.

Here is the OP’s other thread for those who want to see earlier pictures:

The scabs are so large on those chicks, that I don’t know how they can breathe. I would consult with a vet. @casportpony has treated some severe cases of pox in chickens before. Normally, one should not disturb or remove pox scabs since it can spread the virus, but it may help them to breathe better.
How can I remove them without harming the chick.

Can you see a vet tomorrow? I have never seen pictures of pox that bad. In chicks it can always be worse, but that is a severe case. Can you try to make an opening just where the nostrils are, so they can breathe? I would rather someone who has treated pox in small chicks to advise you. What are you doing for them? Do you have betadine iodine to swab the pox scabs? That can help them dry up.
