It's okay half the time I have to go back and rephrase most of what I type, Just like I did now.So sorry, I meant to say might and not must.
I looked for mites I personally didn’t see anything. Is there a spray or something to use in case it does have them? I have donut in a kennel inside the coop with food, peas, and water with electrolytes. Can I still let it get in the pool… I added some apple cider vinegar to the water tonight.Have you looked for mites? they will be black and smaller than a pepper flake . They are very fast too. Ducks don't usually get external parasites if they have a way to wash in a pool etc.
Feathers coming in can be itchy but that looks extreme. like something other than feathers has irritated her skin.

I also just had to get them new food because I discovered mold in the bag of food they had been eating. Do you think that could be part of the issue or is that too far fetchedIt's okay half the time I have to go back and rephrase most of what I type, Just like I did now.![]()
They are 6 weeks oldIt *could* be an allergic reaction to something, but I haven't heard of that myself. How old is Donut? Did you say they just feathered out?
Here it is today. Do you think it’s safe for her to go swimming? How is her skin looking now that you have been treating?Any change?
