Help! What’s wrong with my duck

You'd think it would be affecting the others how many other ducks do you have?

5 total, they all seem fine.

Something is really bothering her. Can you catch her and examine her neck for swellings or food that might be stuck?

If you have other ducks catch one of them, feel their neck, then compare her's to their's.

No crest, she free ranges outside near our pond. I also throw them some corn and oats. I do not give her niacin ... maybe I should be

Ok..that is good about the crest( most ducks with crest have seizures and can have twisted necks). Yes give her some niacin....

Update - took “Rachel” to the vet a few days ago. No temperature or other obvious problems other than her lack of balance standing up. Did mention that she was underweight. Had worms.

But other than that had no other recommendations but to give her lots of food.

I started giving her duck grower, vitamin b rich cereal, water with apple cider vin, and I de-wormed her.

She seemed to perk up a bit and was no longer hunched up so I left her back out with the flock after a couple days.

At first she was fine and happy to be with her friends.

Later in the day I found her on land by herself again, not wanting to swim and all hunched up. She is eating and has regular stool. It does not appear that she is getting picked on by anyone ... why is she still all hunched up? Her neck looks like and S but is not twisted sideways (I don’t think it is wry neck... also because she was fine before I released her with everyone)

Did you get wormer from the vet? if not which is it and how much did you give her? did the vet say she had a big worm load?
