Help! What do I do?!?!

My chick pipped it's egg about 13 hours ago, how long will it take to hatch, and at what point if it doesnt hatch within a time frame should I help it out?! Thanks

i have heard that it can take up to 24 hours after pipping for it to zip. It's a lot of work getting out of that egg so the chick has to take time to rest. If your temp and humidity is good, i would not worry at this point.
