I looks like it could be a bit of lash egg material. It's a shame you didn't keep it to cut it open.

Yup.
Sure looks like lash material(pus from infection)...keep the next one to dissect further.
It could be a 'meat spot'(piece of tissue) but awful big for that.

This does not look like a meat spot. It looks like infectious material and you should not eat it.

I got eggs from a neighbor and one had a worm in it. I always break home raised eggs into a little dish before putting in the pan or the cake batter, just in case. I wouldn't have eaten what you found either but it would be fun to see what you find if you cut it open. Another adventure in chicken keeping!

Wow!!!!!!! Yes the others that I cooked afterwards I broke into a dish first! I had never even thought about it before!!
