We just got indian runner ducks, theyre about 2 weeks old, currently in a 7ft long brooder thats 2ft wide & tall. I clean their brooder once a day. They still have a heat lamp as well. Noticed this maybe a week into getting them. It hasnt gotten any worse.
Currently today we're sectioning off an area in our chicken coop so they have more room.

Could be ammonia burns from poopy bedding. Warm water with some epsom salt mixed in can help heal. Just don’t let them drink the water. Make sure their bedding is changed often.
