HELP!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT ROTTEN EGGS UNDER A HEN ????

All broody poo's smell to high heaven. Mine would specifically pop out for her daily food drink and elmination... run to the front porch, steal any cat food left, knock over the water after a drink so the cat wouldn't have any, and leave a larger than golf ball sized pile of brown gooey pungent manure on the porch....

it isn't weird to me, because as they evolved they developed instincts to keep themselves and their nests from being discovered. that includes getting rid of the garbage. they are very clean mommies. i think the instincts out-weigh the flavor, chickens only have like 9 taste buds anyway, not too concerned I don't think.

if you do by chance find one, be careful carring it, if it breaks, it will gag you, you cannot wash it off quick enough, and worse, it more likely has built up pressue in the egg and will actually explode from the pressure. find a rock, throw toward rock to break, hope the wind is blowing away form you. rotten eggs are liquid inside.
