i found this baby pigeon not sure how old it is what’s something I could feed it!?ive been giving it chicken starter crumble mixed with water with a syringe it is basically just the water it’s eating right now since I think the crumble as a solid in water would still be too hard for it to eat.But is this okay or would it need something else.I researched and saw that the kaytee bird formula is good to give them so should I buy that?the pigeon’s crop is full right just squishy with the crumble water mix so is that ok?any advice would be appreciated

Looks like a dove squab. At this age the Kaytee formula is better to use. Dove squabs grow very fast so you don't need the biggest container of formula. As it grows bigger, sprinkle feed in its cage; it will likely learn to eat on its own sooner than in the wild.

The kaytee formula was out in all the stores close by and so I bought this do you think this one is also good?

I am not familiar with the brand, but that's a pigeon squab on the label, so it should work. Have you tried feeding it? One thing I like about Kaytee is its even consistency that worked great with syringe feeding.

I finished feeding it chicken crumble a while ago and it’s crop is still full so I’m waiting until it goes back down and yes I hear many good things about the brand kaytee but couldn’t find any in any store.
