We very rarely get above 65 in the dead of summer even.
Someone I have been chatting with on here has their pullet act strange sometimes like yours did. And they said when it happens is usually a soft egg shell as well.
But it keeps happening and they aren't in a country where they have access to commercial feed, so maybe something nutritional going on for them. But when the shell is hard no odd behavior.
