HELP?will a muscovy make a new nest and sit after you take her eggs??

I would see my muscovy sit on her eggs on and off for a few days, so i took them and put them in the incubator. They are now starting to develop and I feel bad for taking them, because i know she would have done a better job than my incubator. A few days ago she laid one egg and that's all that's in there now. Will she make a new nest and sit on them or did I mess her up? Has anyone took their ducks eggs before and then they made a new nest eventually and sat on them?

Yes, she will. especially if she's already laid another egg. Just keep them in the bator, she will build a new nest and set more eggs. Muscovies usually set 2-3 nests a year.

I thought she would lay a new egg everyday, but that one egg has been in there by its self for 4 days.

Just give her time. Is she the only one or do you have other hens with her?

Last year, when I was collecting all the Muscovy eggs. I had 1 hen get mad and she started a nest under the porch and hatched out 10 healthy babies. Maybe your girl moved her nest?
