HELP!!! Will chickens eat a Goose egg?

Can someone tell me if chickens will eat a goose egg left in an exposed nest? I can't find a trace of anything. Not even a piece of shell! Either the chickens ate it shell and all or she moved it! I haven't a clue!!!!

I have had experiences in the past where once a chicken had a taste of egg they immediately went after all other within reach. I built a laying box with a slanted floor. When the chicken stood up the egg rolled into a covered hopper the chickens could not get into. I really do not think it matters what kind of egg it is. I believe an egg hungry chicken would eat an ostrich egg if they could crack it.

Last week I slipped 3 pheasant eggs into the clutch of 9 eggs one of my hens was setting on, next day all three of the pheasant eggs were gone
