Hi there,
As some of you might know l, I've been very concerned these last few weeks about a duckling who I believe was burned by her heat lamp when she was younger. Her eye And wing have consequently had problems but I just now noticed that there is an ugly bald patch on her upper forehead. There was just a severe thunderstorm warning issued in my area, and there is quarter inch hail raining down. It has been hitting her head, causing it to press back against her neck and seize up. There is a tarp over her pen, but I fear there are holes in it as he still seems to be dazed. There is an eglu nesting box as well but I doubt all of them would go in there at once. I fully intend to find a professional who will look a their tomorrow, but right now I am very concerned as to whether or not she should spend the night outside. I would upload pictures, but I am worried for my own safety to go back out.
What you guys think? I appreciate any help that can be offered.

I would bring her/them in ... How many do you have? Would they fit in a dog crate or box for the night?
I have 4 ducklings (they're almost seven weeks old and aren't currently using a heat lamp) and their adoptive mom. I have a basement and am sure I can find something to put them in. Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry I never updated this thread. Not sure if anyones still watching it, but the rain ended up stopping twenty minutes after I made the post. I fixed their shelter and the little one is fine now, although she still struggles with her vision occasionally. Thanks for all your help!
