So i'm fostering a baby geese and have no clue about them at all! I bought some grains that are for goose diets but i don't know what else the baby can eat. So if someone could give me the essentials like how much food, how much water, diahrrea, baby crying until i pick him up and then he sleeps, all that please. Also he plucks the feathers maniacally until i see the skin all red (tried some baths with warm water to help (i dry the baby after that)) . He's max two months old but i don't think so, maybe not even a month old

They have a feed for poultry that geese can eat. Poultry flock starter, then at 2 1/2 months poultry flock grower. Do not feed chick starter that is medicated. Until you can get that, try some dry oatmeal. Or make slightly moist mash of yellow cornmeal and a little warm water/milk. If you give him the grains do you have any grit for it? They can't grind it by itself. Crushed unsalted crackers. Also they like there grain in a little water. Do you have any electrolytes to mix with the water? Geese are waterfowl, they need lots of water which is messy. They have to be able to get there beaks in it. Give it good at least 4 times a day but only long enough that you can take it away before it gets soaked which it will because they will go back and forth from food to water and back. They are so fun though.
