Help with a pop door on bottom of tractor!

This has been the strangest July ever! It literally has rained every day!
I see lots of clouds but no real rain.......you excuses are legion.

the weather report here are incredibly inaccurate.. it looks like it is going to rain in the next 5 minutes.. I can take pictures for proof! But seriously, I swear as soon as I fix the handle bars for moving the tractor I will post, but it looks terrible with the handle bars half on, and the barren ground because I haven't been able to move it:gig

The door is basically a tray on a track, it just slides back and fourth to shut the door.

How do you open and close the slider door?
Then do you raise the ladder too?
I just push it with a PVC pipe:lol: not very technical, but it works fine:p. The ladder is slightly raised off the ground, but I don't pull it up all the way, it just hangs a couple feet off the ground so I can move the tractor without it dragging.

I'm still confused ... even with the pictures ... thank you by the way for the pictured though! :)

The picture looking from the top, with the door closed looks like it is even with the floor ... I don't understand how it could slide, or stay up inside even with the rest of the floor ...

Is the door not even with the floor?

My guess is eventually the sliders will become clogged up with poop/shavings concrete ...

Do you loose alot of shavings when you open the door?
