ok, so the reason it looks almost even with the floor is because the door is actually like a drawer or sliding tray. It has pine shavings in it which makes it look even with the floor... Occasionally I do have a little bit of resistance while opening the door, but it just takes a bit harder of a push... It really is nothing common or terrible. I do loose some pine shavings, but those are from my Chooms kicking them out during the day. (Usually right after a clean itI'm still confused ... even with the pictures ... thank you by the way for the pictured though!
The picture looking from the top, with the door closed looks like it is even with the floor ... I don't understand how it could slide, or stay up inside even with the rest of the floor ...
Is the door not even with the floor?
My guess is eventually the sliders will become clogged up with poop/shavings concrete ...
Do you loose alot of shavings when you open the door?
