Yeah. Foy's runs on batteries. You could also make one that runs on 12V and get a solar charger.

Or just get your kids to do it.

I just installed an automatic opener using a 12v DC linear actuator, timer switch, small 12v DC battery and a solar panel to keep the battery charged. I got the battery at Radio Shack and everything else online. The total cost was around $250. Installation involved connecting four wires, screwing in two mounting brackets and programing the timer. It has been running for a week and so far it is perfect.
