Thank you all for the info!! Peacocks run pretty expensive here. I did worm them first thing. ;-) I was not sure if I could use the same stuff as I do on my chickens but they don't seem worse for wear. I gave them all ivermectin. I got them from a "swap" that we have here and it was the last day in the evening and he was putting them back on his truck. So I asked him how bad he really wanted to load them back up and keep them for the winter. We haggled a bit and then transferred them to my crate. Looks like from what is commented I have one Peacock and three Peahens. I know it will be some time before eggs lol. I thought they were a different breed because the neck looks green lol.

If you just wormed them recently you will need to worm them again with something like safeguard for goats it kills more of the worms that peafowl are susceptible to and those can cause problems if not taken care of, not sure how long you should wait to re worm them with ivermec as i never use that for worming my birds just use it for external parasites and i also use it as a heart worm preventive for my dogs.

Peas need to be wormed pretty often, when i just had chickens i hardly ever wormed them but once i got peas all that changed now everything on the place gets wormed cause my birds are free and everyone eats together, cost me a small fortune when the numbers get into the 100's
Can someone recommend the waiting period between these two wormers ivermec and safeguard for goats ???????
