Help with breeds please

Not sure. Depends on your preference. Sometimes the protective ones can be so protective that they see you as a threat too! Hopefully you can get some other advice but I personally like the cowardly nice ones!

Teddy was also kind of a rescue bird. Our neighbor brought him to our house because her other rooster was beating him up. I’m kind of partial to him. I don’t want to give the other Roos up though. I’m such a softy. I can’t let any go.

I know it’s hard but it has to be done. After all my experiences with (AGGRESSIVE!) roosters I always just tell myself it’s not worth anyone getting hurt for one dumb rooster. Cause they all seem to end up like that for me! But especially if you have kids! Some of those boys are ruthless! What happens if one of your kids comes in crying because they were attacked by your rooster? They can seriously take eyes out!

Cause they all seem to end up like that for me! But especially if you have kids! Some of those boys are ruthless! I know. Our neighbors actually just told us that we could swap out roosters for hens if we get too many. Time to see if they were serious I guess. Or maybe I should wait a bit longer just in case …
