I know it is still pretty early but just thought we could collectively give these guys a guess? I posted my older guys here My 8 wk olds These guys are 4ish-5 weeks old. Fairly certain the grey ones are Sapphire Gems. Unsure only the yellow/brown ones. They still don't have names. Feels like they eventually show me what their names should be through their personalities. None of the Gems had white spots on their head when they were younger chicks.
Unsure on breed on #1. A little worried because I have heard in a lot of breeds, dark on the breast area means roo.
#2. Gem. No Barring. Thinking pullet
# 3 should be the same breed as #1. Does have more white and a different look to her face.
#4. Another gem. No barring. Pullet also?
#5 same as #2 and #4.
And finally....#6....This is a hard one. (Sarcasm) . Even I can tell this is a rooster. We named him robbie. Hoping he is the only rooster we have so some hard decisions don't have to be made. Clues: barring and ginormous comb.
