Help with chick breed.

These are 4 weeks old from McMurray hatchery. The silver chick was the "surprise rare chick" the other doesn't look like any of the other cuckoo maran or araucana chicks I received. I think it's a maran in another color but not sure.

The "araucanas" from MMM are actually Easter Eggers and both of yours look like typical female color patterns. They come in every color.

does this chick have feathered legs? McMurray only has 2 blue breeds, Cochin (feathered legs) and Andalusians (no feathered legs).

Sounds like it is an Andalusian then, I'd say pullet. They are large combed and lay white eggs, like a Leghorn.

Very good. Thanks for the help. The suspense was killing me not knowing. Still not sure on the second pic in original post. EE I'm assuming although it doesn't resemble any of the other 8 I got. Looks more like the cuckoo maran except in color.

She looks quite a bit like my Pearl did. I don't have a pic from that age but here is 3 weeks:

She laid blue eggs.

I agree they look very similar. I'm assuming she's EE.
