I would appreciate any help. I got an incubator from a farm with 12 fertilized eggs on March 13th. I was very careful with the temperature and checked on the troughs daily as they noted the water should be maintained. None of the chicks hatched. Then today, the chick was piping, and came out. he wobbled for about an hour and drank some water then started chirped and laying on its back. Its breathing but has its eyes closed laying on its back. Its leg was shaking violently. I feel terrible as the chick looks like it is dying but chirps often. None of the other eggs hatched. Please advise as the farm has been unhelpful, and I want to be humane to the unhatched eggs and this chick that does not look well.

Is it still in the incubator, or did you take it out after it hatched?

Chicks need to be kept at 95 degrees after they are dry. They can't keep themselves warm, and can't cool off if they get too hot.
