So I came home lastnight to find out that an employee has fed my meat birds medicated turkey feed to the White Rock X. It would seem that they were fed this feed on saturday. Ive been trying to do somme reaserch regarding removal of the feed but as it was never intended for the chickens its hard to get concrete answeres. The Abatoir was schedualed for thursday and they book 8 weeks in advance so I can even adjust my drop time. Im concearned that the medication will still be in the meat. It should be clear as this wil be 5 days after the treatment that they will be slaughtered but Im looking for some reasurance. The medication is 187.5mg/kg Nitarsone(4-Nitrophenylarsonic acid). Can anyone help or reasure that these birds will be clean for slaughter?
