Maybe the sticky’s?
Hi! New chick and ducking momma here. I have them together in the brooder right now and with one rooster. I'd like the chicks to have the medicated feed for a few weeks as recommended by local breeder. She said that it won't hurt my 2 ducklings as long as I supplement B1 or maybe it's what you mentioned. It's the chick starter medicated, I just want to be sure what I am reading is it is okay. I don't want to separate them as I would like them to grow up together.
I got the purina chick starter? where can I get the niacin and how should I go about giving it to them? That is correct, as long as the feed is medicated with Amprolium, it is safe. Make sure to supplement with niacin for the ducklings, of course.
You might find you want to brood them separately for an entirely different reason though, haha. Ducklings are wet and messy. A damp brooder isn't good for chicks.
You can buy nutritional yeast flakes and mix them with the food.I got the purina chick starter? where can I get the niacin and how should I go about giving it to them?
will this work? You can buy nutritional yeast flakes and mix them with the food.

There are cheaper options out there that work just as well, if not better. I believe that in the article posted above, (https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/nutritional-yeast-vs-brewers-yeast.1393856/) the author said that nutritional yeast has more niacin. 1lb of nutritional yeast from NOW on amazon is about 13$. Good luck!will this work?
