I'm new with forums and chicken. I hope I can find my original post if anyone is gracious enough to reply.
Getting Barred Rock chicks mid-May. Husband is surprisingly gunho with plans to design and build a tractor coop. He mentioned to me that he's considering putting cargo netting under the run. He wants to make it more difficult for some predator to dig under the run. I read on this forum NOT to put down wire. Do you think that since the cargo netting will be moveable when scratched that it would be okay? Thanks for the input.

I think cargo netting would be okay as long as the net was taut enough to keep chicken feet from being caught. Also good luck with your chicks!
