Help with coop floor and wall please

So I think I'm going to skip the whole wall idea and do a half wall leaving it mainly open to the run. Just saw a coop down the street and it was completely open with a little 3 sided covered section at the end.
I want to at least put a half wall up though to protect from the wind.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
I'd still opt for majority mesh with wind breaking panels to be easily applied as needed. Heat is really hard on the birds. Maybe something like this interesting open front hot weather coop https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/open-front-coop-done-chicken-yard-in-progress.1160614/

Yeah I'm going to do a half wall. Ether vertical, over half the opening, or horizontal. Like waist to chest high. That way there is a solid wind break for the roasts if there is any weather. But the rest will be open cause we do get some heat. Now the main focus will be on predators. Good mesh and skirts.

Use screws to build, so you can reconfigure once the birds are in there and you experience the air flow and temps in the coop.

supersknk18.jpg Um, well......OK then for hardware cloth....

Yikes! Yes HC can be torn if not attached well.
Odd that the hole is very close to where it looks like they couldn't have gone around it.
Well, it WAS attached well! It was nailed to the baseboard, staked down, and weighted down with pavers and cement block. The only thing we didn't do was cover it with dirt, which we were going to do in spring, but it didn't appear to make much difference. And yes, this is a tiny space for her to have found a way through. She wants to get in so she can have a nice sheltered place to have her young. This hole leads to her den which is under a built-in chicken pen very close to the floor. We couldn't access it unless we tore up the whole pen. This animal is amazing.

I'm thinking that he could have/ should have extended the hardware cloth out a little farther, but I doubt it would have made much difference. I think he just figured with all the rocks, etc, that SuperSkunk would have been sufficiently discouraged....
