Help With Dog Attack.....

So sorry you went through this and so happy there has been improvement. My duck was attacked by a stray dog a couple of months ago with wounds on his back. After receiving so much information from this site, Harmony healed really well after spending a week or so in a quiet warm room with some extra tlc. I've come to realize these little ducks of ours are alot stronger than we might think, given the severity of their wounds. I think you're doing a great job in helping them heal, just as any concerned Mother would. :hugs I know it hurts losing your duck, but for the sake of your brother, just remind him that his dog was being just that... a dog and that's what dogs do not necessarily trying to harm but playing so rough, too rough for a duck to handle. Give him a big sqeeze :hugsand tell him it's ok, and next time doggy stays home or possibly other arrangements can be made beforehand. Again, so sorry but so happy the other duckies are improving. :hugs Please continue to keep us posted. :love

After losing a chicken to a friends dog No one can bring their dogs here. My chickens especially fly over the fence into the back yard where the dogs go out and I just don't want to take that chance again.

So happy to hear duckies are doing better today. Bless their little hearts and yours. :hugs
