Help With Dog Attack.....

I don’t but can go get some. It is really easy to miss their wounds. I feel like such a jerk picking them up when they are hurting. But I will go back over them in just a little bit. I have some cipro drops, and amoxicillin if needed.
Hold off on the drugs for now. Something like injectable penicillin might be a better choice.

If you can, get them cleaned up and post some pictures of the more severe wounds. if you have to, pluck feathers 1/2" from the skin edges. Pluck in the direction they grow, and watch for tearing as you do it. I have a picture of one I did it that would help.

I don’t know if her torso hurts and she just doesn’t want her wing up next to it. But Marshmallows wing is drooping. Sweet Peas was drooping also, so I put it in place and slipped a shirt sleeve over her. Her poop looks normal except for the dark one. And they were noodling in the mud before the accident so I’m not sure. I’m thinking about bringing them all inside. But Marshmallow is starting to pant. I don’t know if it’s because of an injury or because she’s not used to being in the house and is hot. I need to rub the medicine in but it makes my stomach sick to rub on the sore spots.

I know:hugs but yours are injured....mine just can't handle drugs! You know they are more book smart than street smart!! :D

All kidding aside, I really hope your babies are ok and my heart is heavy for your loss tonight:hugs:hugs:hugs
I’m glad I decided to go outside and check on their dog when I did or all of them would have been gone. Plus I feel bad that now my brother is stressed because he feels terrible. I don’t get to see him very often so it sucks.
