Knowing the breed of duck would help us out a lot.

After externally pipping, it can take anywhere from 24-48 hours for ducks usually. However, most ducks are hatched by day 28.

My question to you is: Were the hens sitting on the eggs before you got them? The ducklings look a lot like muscovies, but their incubation is around 33-35 days.

If they are not muscovies and are not out in the morning, I would consider helping them if you deem it necessary.

They are doing great 5 hatched one never externally piped. Even thou he was active on lockdown. The last two did take forever. I did help out by putting some coconut oil on the membrane and seemed to help alot with them coming out. I didn't want the membrane to dry out on them. Two took 27 days one was 28 days and 2 were 29 days. Was very stressful watching them and wanting nothing to go wrong.

Torture watching him going on hour 34...i opened him up a bit earlier
