The picture turned sideways but can you guys help me identify what is going one with this little lady?

Few things - She had a nest of eggs outside of their house and we took it away. Since then she seems to be either not laying an egg or leaving half developed eggs in the yard. This is unusual behavior because they normally lay in their house.

Second - In this picture she is puffed up a bit which she normally isn't. She also has the bite marks on the back of her head from our boy.

Last - And my biggest concern is that her feathers seemed stripped in the back? Is this just from the guy mounting her every day or something else?

Any thoughts are welcome!! Thank you!!

She needs her own space for a while. Like, at least several days. She had been broody, the nest was removed, her hormones are all out of whack.

The normal sequence is mate, lay, sit, molt. Each of my ducks who has gone broody has had her own spin on this sequence, but this is what they seem to do.

The sit, molt stages are when they need some peace, quiet, safety and space - and a break from the drake.
